Resolution criteria
- This market will resolve to YES if Chinese President Xi Jinping is confirmed to have returned safely to territory controlled by the People's Republic of China (PRC) following his state visit to the United States (which began on September 23, 2026).
- "Safely returned" is defined as physically landing or arriving in the PRC alive, free, and not severely incapacitated.
- This market will resolve to NO if he dies, is deposed, is arrested, seeks asylum, or is otherwise unable or fails to return to the PRC by October 15, 2026, at 11:59 PM UTC.
- Resolution will be based on official announcements from Chinese state media (such as Xinhua) or reports from credible international news agencies (such as Reuters, Associated Press, or Bloomberg).
- On September 23, 2026, Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland for a three-day official state visit to the United States.
