- This market will resolve to YES if the officially selected 2028 Democratic nominee for President of the United States is strictly under the age of 55 (has not yet reached their 55th birthday) on the day they officially secure the nomination.
- This market will resolve to NO if the nominee is 55 years of age or older on the day they officially secure the nomination.
- Definition of "officially securing the nomination": This is defined as the day the nominee officially crosses the delegate threshold required to win the nomination, whether via a roll-call vote at the 2028 Democratic National Convention (scheduled for August 7–10, 2028) or via an official virtual roll call held prior to the convention.
- Source of Truth: The age of the nominee on the roll-call date will be verified using official biographical records or mainstream biographical profiles (such as Britannica or Wikipedia).
- Precondition: If the Democratic Party does not nominate a presidential candidate for the 2028 election, or if the nomination process is canceled, this market will resolve N/A.
