The Green Party of England and Wales usually holds internal leadership elections every 2 years where party members vote for who should lead the party.
- In the 2025 leadership election, Polanski won with 84% of the vote and is credited with the subsequent surge in membership and popularity of the party.
- A general election will be held by 2029 and, if the Green Party wins, the party leader will presumably become the UK Prime Minister.
- If Polanski becomes co-leader with someone else, this will resolve YES.
