Resolution criteria
- This market resolves YES if Marco Rubio, U.S. Secretary of State, visits Greenland before January 1, 2027.
- Resolution will be confirmed through official statements from the U.S. State Department, Greenlandic government, or credible news reports documenting his physical presence in Greenland.
- The visit must occur before the end of 2026.
- Rubio plans to meet with Danish officials to discuss U.S. interest in Greenland, following requests from Denmark's Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen and Greenland's Foreign Minister Vivian Motzfeldt.
- Trump appointed Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry as a special envoy to Greenland, and Vice President JD Vance visited a U.S. military base in Greenland in 2025.
