As of January 2023, there is currently one DSA member on city council and another running for it.
- In Seattle, Kshama Sawant was elected to city council as a Socialist.
- For this market to resolve as Yes, someone would have to win running for an explicitly socialist political party.
- Eg. not the Democrats or Working Families.
- This time period covers the 2023 and 2027 municipal elections.
