Resolution Criteria
- This market resolves YES if credible evidence emerges that any individual named in the released Epstein files who had direct communication with Jeffrey Epstein engaged in cannibalism.
- Resolution requires either: (1) a criminal conviction for cannibalism-related charges, (2) a confession by the individual, or (3) documented forensic or physical evidence presented in court proceedings or official law enforcement reports.
- While the DOJ's January 2026 Epstein files contain references to cannibalism and accusations of "ritualistic sacrifice," these allegations stemmed from a purported 2019 FBI interview with an anonymous man and were unsupported by any credible evidence.
- References to "cannibal" or "cannibalism" appear elsewhere in the files, but those references did not allege crimes committed by Epstein or anyone close to him.
- The Justice Department has not indicated that the files support claims of cannibalism or ritualistic abuse by Epstein or his associates.
