This market primarily addresses the California High-Speed Rail Project (though alternative resolution criteria could be considered), which has the stated ultimate aim of connecting Sacramento to San Diego by HSR.
- The project is currently focused on the HSR system from SF to LA, and the extension from Sacramento to San Diego is expected to be completed after the initial HSR line.
