Resolution criteria In August 2026, LIV Golf announced it had signed a NON-BINDING TERM SHEET with an unnamed investor (reported to be the credit arm of BC Partners) to lead its next phase, after Saudi Arabia's PIF confirmed it would end funding at the close of the 2026 season.
- The 2026 season finished a week early and LIV laid off a majority of its workforce.
- This market resolves YES if, on or before 23:59 ET on October 31, 2026, LIV Golf, its ownership, or the incoming investor publicly announces that a DEFINITIVE investment or acquisition agreement has been SIGNED, or that such a transaction has CLOSED.
- A non-binding term sheet, letter of intent, "exclusive talks", "advanced negotiations", or any other preliminary/conditional step does NOT count.
- The announcement must describe a definitive/binding agreement or a completed transaction.
