If the Liberal Democrat candidate wins the 2027 Bedford mayoral election, then the market resolves to Yes.

- This market is eligible for accelerated resolution by a consensus of media calls. See full rules for details. A party's market resolves Yes if the candidate declared elected stood under that party's name on the Statement of Persons Nominated, or under the name of a registered party it has merged into. A candidate registered under a listed party's own name counts only for that party; if a candidate would otherwise count for more than one listed party through a merger, the candidate counts only for the first of them in the order Conservative, Liberal Democrats, Labour, Reform UK and Green. An independent backed by a party does not count for that party. If the winner stood for none of the listed parties, every market resolves No.
