If the World Bank reports that the global account ownership in the next Global Findex release is above 80%, then the market resolves to Yes.
Settles via:World Bank
- The Underlying is the percentage reported for “World” under the World Bank indicator “Account ownership at a financial institution or with a mobile-money-service provider (% of population ages 15+),” series code FX.OWN.TOTL.ZS, for the earliest reference year after 2024.
- The Underlying will be rounded to the nearest 0.1 percentage point.
- If the Underlying is exactly halfway between two values, it will be rounded to the value farther from zero.
- Revisions to the 2024 observation will not qualify.
- If the World Bank changes the name, presentation, series code, or publication location without materially changing what the indicator measures, the corresponding successor series may be used.
