This event predicts whether Midjourney will be found liable for copyright infringement in the Disney/Comcast lawsuit at any time between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026 (inclusive).
- The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be official court rulings or docket entries expressly holding Midjourney liable.
- If a court issues a ruling or judgment during this period that expressly holds Midjourney liable for copyright infringement in the Disney/Comcast case, this market will resolve to "Yes".
- Otherwise, it will resolve to "No".
- Settlements without an express liability finding or procedural rulings will not count.
- If official court records are unclear, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent reporting from major legal news organizations.
