Resolves to YES if the International Commission on Stratigraphy (ICS) designates a new geological epoch to reflect the influence of artificial intelligence on Earth by Dec. 31, 2060.
- Possibles names for this new epoch could be the "Machinocene," "Novacene," or "Cybercene," though market resolution is based on the intention of the designation, not the specific name.
- If the ICS (and it's parent body, the IUGS) ceases to exist, decisions of its successor or another well-regarded geologic organization will be used for market resolution.
- If instead of a new epoch, a new stage (or age), period, era, or eon is designated to the reflect the influence of artificial intelligence on earth, this market will still resolve YES.
