Resolution criteria
- This market resolves to YES if, at any point during the calendar year 2026, Anthropic formally announces or implements a policy change that restricts access to the "Claude Code" tool so that it is exclusively available on their "Max" tier plan (or equivalent highest-tier plan), removing it from all lower-tier, free, or individual plans where it was previously available.
- Otherwise, it resolves to NO.
- Resolution will be determined by official announcements on the Anthropic blog (https://www.anthropic.com/news) or updates to the official Anthropic pricing and plan comparison page (https://www.anthropic.com/pricing).
- If Anthropic discontinues Claude Code entirely, or if the product is rebranded in a way that makes this distinction inapplicable, the market will resolve based on the closest functional equivalent.
- Claude Code is a command-line interface tool introduced by Anthropic designed to allow developers to interact with Claude directly within their terminal environment to execute coding tasks.
