- The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be official changes to Canon Law or authoritative Vatican documents confirming the authorization of women to preach at Mass.
- If Canon Law or official Vatican directives are amended to explicitly allow women to preach during Mass by the end of December 31, 2026, this market will resolve to "Yes".
- Otherwise, it will resolve to "No".
- Permissions limited to non-Mass settings or informal practices without canonical authorization will not count.
- If official Church documents are ambiguous, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent reporting from major Catholic or international news organizations.
