- Resolve to the calendar quarter (JST) in which Nintendo first confirms that production of all Nintendo Switch (Switch, Switch – OLED Model, and Switch Lite) has ended for Japan.
- If Nintendo issues only “will end production” language with a future date, resolve using the stated effective date.
- If pages update without visible dates, use the earliest reliable press coverage that quotes/archives the Nintendo page.
- (Example precedent: Nintendo announced Wii U domestic production end via its site, then press reported it.)
- Close date is provisional, more options will be added if 2027 Q4 gets close and production has not ended.
