Resolution criteria
- This market will resolve to the person who is next confirmed by the United States Senate to serve as the Attorney General of the United States.
- If multiple individuals are nominated, the market will resolve to the one who successfully receives the advice and consent of the Senate.
- If an individual serves as "Acting" Attorney General but is not subsequently confirmed by the Senate, they will not cause the market to resolve in their favor.
- The official confirmation can be verified via the United States Senate website or the Department of Justice official announcements.
- The Attorney General is the head of the United States Department of Justice and serves as the chief law enforcement officer of the federal government.
