This event predicts whether Amazon will announce and implement its own proprietary cryptocurrency at any time between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026 (inclusive).
- The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be official announcements by Amazon confirming the creation and implementation of its own cryptocurrency (even if that's a stablecoin).
- If Amazon officially announces and implements its own cryptocurrency during this period, this market will resolve to "Yes".
- Otherwise, it will resolve to "No".
- A cryptocurrency introduced only for limited regions or internal use may require intent-based assessment by Futuur.
- If official announcements are unclear, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent reporting from major technology or financial news organizations.
