Resolution Criteria:
- Resolve YES if, during Apple's September 9, 2026 event or in official Apple materials published in connection with that event, Apple announces a foldable iPhone and states that its lowest advertised starting price in the United States is $2,400 or more, before sales tax.
- Resolve NO if Apple announces a foldable iPhone with a U.S. starting price below $2,400.
- Also resolve NO if Apple does not announce a foldable iPhone, or does not announce an official U.S. starting price for it, by 11:59 PM PT on September 9, 2026.
- Only Apple's official U.S. retail starting price counts.
- Carrier promotions, trade-in discounts, financing offers, temporary promotions, accessory bundles, and prices outside the United States do not count.
