Yooldo Games is a Web3 gaming platform that publishes its own casual games and uses the ESPORTS token as its platform currency and governance asset. The project's goal is to bring ordinary (Web2) players into blockchain gaming through familiar game formats, while giving token holders a say in platform features and a share of platform fees. ESPORTS is a BEP-20 token on BNB Chain, and it matters mainly as a way to follow one of the smaller game studios trying to make play-to-earn economics sustainable.
Yooldo describes itself as a cross-chain gaming platform that connects Web2 and Web3, and its current website presents it as an "AI-native gaming platform on Web3". According to the Yooldo whitepaper, the name comes from the classic Korean novel The Tale of Hong Gil-dong, in which the hero founds a utopian country called Yooldo where everyone gets a fair chance.
The platform develops its games in house. The official website lists three titles:
The web app lives at app.yooldo.gg.
The whitepaper's team page says the Yooldo team is led by a builder known as Muss and has been working on Web2-to-Web3 gaming since 2021. The team reports winning more than ten hackathons, including events organised by Coinbase, Aptos, Oasys and Klaytn, and names Consensys, Linea and BNB Chain among its supporters. The official website also lists Google for Startups, the Google Indie Game Festival and the Unity Awards among programmes the team has taken part in. The whitepaper does not publish a full team roster or company registration details beyond this.
The project grew out of the Cyber Galz NFT collection. Its published roadmap records a Cyber Galz genesis mint in early 2022, a Trouble Punk alpha demo in spring 2022 and a first closed beta in August 2022. That roadmap originally referred to a governance token called YOOL; the token that eventually launched is ESPORTS, and the whitepaper's token pages now describe ESPORTS as the platform token.
Yooldo uses a hybrid design. Real-time game logic runs off-chain, because a fast action game cannot wait for block confirmations, and the results are written on-chain along with NFTs, tokens and other important records. The whitepaper argues this keeps gameplay responsive and gas costs low while leaving ownership and outcomes verifiable.
Two security ideas are specific to the design:
Jury Trial Session League matches can be reviewed by a DAO-style jury. Players accused of cheating, players who file reports, and the jurors themselves all post tokens as collateral, and whoever is found to have cheated or filed a false report loses that stake.
Withdrawal time lock Token withdrawals are processed in batches every eight hours, which gives the team time to react to exploits or abuse before funds leave the system.
The whitepaper lists these uses for ESPORTS:
The official website summarises the same model as governance staking, content commissions, airdrop distribution and fee revenue sharing.
Supply and allocation. The whitepaper sets a total supply of 900,000,000 ESPORTS, split as follows: marketing, airdrop and ecosystem 22.2%; liquidity and listing 19.1%; treasury 15.6%; team 11.1% (9-month cliff, 24-month vesting); staking rewards 7.7%; advisors and partners 5.6%; CEX marketing 5.6%; private sale 5.0%; seed sale 4.8%; KOL marketing 3.3%. The whitepaper notes that unused staking rewards may be burned. An on-chain read of the BNB Chain contract suggests a total supply of about 900 million tokens, which is consistent with that figure.
Most early play-to-earn games paid rewards in their main token and inflated it. Yooldo separates the two: TROB handles game rewards and fees, while ESPORTS is the platform-level token. In Trouble Punk leagues, the bottom 20% of players receive rewards that can only be spent inside the game economy rather than withdrawn, which is meant to limit sell pressure. The staked-collateral jury system for cheating reports is another unusual feature.
Yooldo is not a blockchain. It is a game studio and platform that deploys onto existing networks, and its website names Oasys, BNB Chain, Aptos and Mantle among its ecosystem partners. That puts it closer to studios such as Pixels or Big Time than to gaming chains like Oasys or Xai, which provide infrastructure for many studios. Compared with larger Web3 titles, Yooldo focuses on short-session casual games rather than large persistent worlds.
ESPORTS is a standard token contract on BNB Chain, so its transfers are secured by that network's validators. Game logic runs on Yooldo's own servers, which means players trust the operator for match results before they are recorded on-chain. The whitepaper lists Haechi Labs, a Korean Web3 security and audit firm, among its partners, but a published audit report for the ESPORTS contract was not found on the pages reviewed here. The jury system and withdrawal time lock described above are the project's own abuse controls.
Yooldo is a small but concrete test of whether a casual-games studio can run a sustainable token economy by separating reward tokens from its governance token and tying rewards to real fee income.
ESPORTS trades on centralized exchanges and on decentralized exchanges on BNB Chain. When buying on a DEX, verify the contract address first: 0xf39e4b21c84e737df08e2c3b32541d856f508e48 on BscScan.
ESPORTS can be held in any wallet that supports BNB Chain (BEP-20) tokens, such as MetaMask or Trust Wallet, or in a hardware wallet connected to one of them. Tokens left on an exchange are held by that exchange.
