HumidiFi is a proprietary automated market maker on Solana, and WET is its token. Unlike a conventional decentralized exchange, HumidiFi does not price trades from a public bonding curve fed by open liquidity providers. Liquidity is managed by professional market makers, quotes come from a closed pricing engine, and most users never visit its interface: they reach it indirectly when a router such as Jupiter sends their swap through it.
The name is generic enough that the token must be identified by its mint. This page describes the SPL token with the mint address WETZjtprkDMCcUxPi9PfWnowMRZkiGGHDb9rABuRZ2U on Solana. A live read of that account confirms it is owned by the classic SPL Token program, uses 6 decimals, and has a supply just under 1,000,000,000 WET.
Two facts from the same read matter more than most things written about the token. The mint authority is null and the freeze authority is null. No new WET can be created and no holder's account can be frozen.
There is a practical warning attached to this. At least one lookalike mint exists on Solana that also begins with the characters WET, also uses 6 decimals, also has a supply of roughly one billion with both authorities revoked, and carries almost the same metadata name. It is held by a very small number of wallets and is flagged as suspicious by token screening services. A vanity prefix and a revoked mint authority prove nothing about which token a venue actually trades. Match the full mint address above, character for character, before swapping or transferring.
Official sources:
HumidiFi does not present a named founding team, and the people behind it are pseudonymous. The protocol is described as being supported by the Zero Position Foundation, a memberless entity registered in the Cayman Islands, with core engineering attributed to a firm operating as Butterfly Research, doing business as Temporal. These attributions come from the project's own materials and from launch coverage, and cannot be independently verified the way a contract read can.
HumidiFi operated for months as a venue before it had a token. The token generation event took place on December 5, 2025, distributed through Jupiter's Decentralized Token Formation platform, with a whitelisted pre-sale the project called the Wetlist, a tranche reserved for Jupiter stakers, and a first-come public tranche.
An anonymous team running an off-chain pricing engine is a real consideration, and it is covered in the risks section below rather than glossed over.
The design splits computation from settlement.
Off-chain pricing A high-frequency trading model drives an oracle that streams market data continuously. According to the project's own description, a single oracle tick can update quotes across all supported markets at once, so the venue can reprice everything it lists in one step rather than waiting for arbitrageurs to walk each pool back to fair value.
On-chain settlement Custody, settlement, and accounting stay on Solana. A trader's funds move through Solana programs and the resulting state is public, even though the logic that produced the quote is not.
Router distribution HumidiFi integrates with Solana aggregators and routers including Jupiter, DFlow, Titan, and the OKX router. Order flow arrives because those routers select HumidiFi's quote, which means the venue competes on price rather than on user acquisition.
Stake-aware fees On each trade the program reads the trader's staking tier on-chain and applies the corresponding fee rebate automatically.
The quoting engine is deliberately closed. The stated reasoning is that publishing internal market-making logic invites predatory flow and toxic order flow that worsens outcomes for ordinary traders, and that the system adapts to adversarial behavior dynamically rather than blacklisting addresses.
WETZjtprkDMCcUxPi9PfWnowMRZkiGGHDb9rABuRZ2UWET is the utility token behind HumidiFi's staking and fee-rebate system. Traders stake WET to qualify for trading rebates, and the higher the staking tier, the larger the rebate and discount applied at execution time. Savings are tracked publicly on a leaderboard.
On supply, the token is straightforward and verifiable. The project states a fixed maximum of 1,000,000,000 WET, and the chain agrees: the mint reports a supply marginally below one billion, and the shortfall reflects tokens that holders have burned, since an SPL burn genuinely reduces the mint's reported supply rather than parking tokens at an unspendable address. With the mint authority revoked, that number cannot be increased by anyone, including the team.
Distribution at the token generation event allocated 6% to the Wetlist, 2% to Jupiter stakers, and 2% to the public pre-sale, with the remainder covering ecosystem development, foundation reserves, and team incentives. The project describes a general unlock schedule releasing proportionally every six months over two years from the token generation event.
HumidiFi inverts the usual decentralized exchange trade-off. A public constant-product pool is fully transparent and, for exactly that reason, easy to pick off when prices move. HumidiFi keeps settlement on-chain and auditable while moving pricing to an actively managed engine, accepting opacity in exchange for tighter quotes.
It also built distribution before it built a token. The venue earned router flow by winning price comparisons, then issued WET on top of an existing business, which is the reverse of the usual sequence.
The token layer is about as secure as an SPL token gets. The mint authority is null, so supply cannot be inflated. The freeze authority is null, so no account can be frozen or censored at the token level. The mint uses the classic SPL Token program rather than Token-2022, which means it carries none of the transfer-hook or confidential-transfer extensions that some newer tokens use to add discretionary control.
The venue layer is where the trust sits. Settlement is on Solana and therefore public, but the pricing engine that decides what a trader is offered runs off-chain and is not published. The project's litepaper does not disclose audits or open-source components for that engine. A trader can verify what they received; they cannot verify that it was the fairest quote the system could have produced.
HumidiFi is the clearest example on Solana of a venue that behaves like a professional market maker while settling on a public chain. It shows that a large share of on-chain trading can be intermediated by actively managed liquidity rather than passive pools, which is a meaningful shift in how decentralized exchange volume is produced, and it raises a genuine question about how much transparency traders are willing to give up for better execution.
WET trades on Solana decentralized exchanges, including HumidiFi itself and Meteora, and on a number of centralized exchanges that listed it after the token generation event. Availability varies by jurisdiction. Always check the mint address before swapping, because Solana token tickers are not unique.
WET has been listed on venues including:
Pairs are typically quoted against USDT, SOL, or USD where supported.
Solana addresses are not EVM addresses, and sending WET to an Ethereum-style address will lose the funds. Staked WET is held by a protocol program rather than sitting in a wallet balance.
