Everything is a decentralized finance protocol built around a single idea: instead of splitting capital across a swap pool, a lending market, and a perpetuals venue, put one reserve per token pair behind all of them. That same reserve prices trades, funds loans, backs leveraged positions, absorbs liquidations, and holds resting limit orders.
EV is the protocol's token. It is an ERC-20 token deployed at the same address, 0xE7E7E741C23a4767831A56A8C99F522c5aC1E7E7, on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, and BNB Chain. Reading each of those four contracts directly returns the name Everything, the symbol EV, and 18 decimals, and the deployments together track a stated total supply of 100,000,000,000 EV.
Everything is not a new team starting from zero. It is the rebranded continuation of SmarDex, and EV is the successor to the SDEX token, with a migration that runs for years rather than as a single swap event.
Official sources:
SmarDex was founded in 2023 by Jean Rausis and Eric Rabl and is based in Montreux, Switzerland. Its whitepaper appeared in April 2023 and its mainnet launched in August 2023. The original pitch was an automated market maker whose curve was designed to reduce, and in some conditions reverse, the impermanent loss liquidity providers suffer on constant-product venues. The team later shipped USDN, a delta-neutral synthetic dollar, alongside farming, a swap aggregator, and peer-to-peer lending.
The rebrand to Everything rolled out through 2026. A framework for moving SDEX holders into EV was published in January 2026, the token generation event followed in May 2026, and EV listed on Kraken and other venues that month. The protocol also published a crypto-asset white paper under the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, with version 1 dated May 1, 2026, notification to a national competent authority on May 28, 2026, and version 2 dated June 8, 2026. The project presents EV as a utility token rather than a security.
The architecture rests on four properties the protocol describes as load bearing.
One reserve, every primitive A single pool per pair serves swaps, lending, borrowing, and leverage. Liquidity providers earn from all of them at once instead of choosing one, and a user can move between them without withdrawing, bridging, or re-collateralizing.
Oracleless pricing Prices come from the pool's own state rather than an external oracle. A reserve-based mechanism smooths price movement over time so a short-lived push cannot immediately move credit conditions, which is the usual attack path against oracle-fed lending markets.
Bounded, tick-based accounting Orders and loans share a geometric tick grid. Liquidations are capped by design so a cascade cannot run without limit, and the protocol operates without an insurance fund and without auto-deleveraging.
Solvency by construction Because pricing, credit, and settlement all reference the same reserve, obligations are designed to stay covered by the pool that created them.
A further upgrade, referred to as Geneva, is described as the point where capital stops sitting idle: limit orders earn yield while they wait to execute, collateral keeps generating yield during a loan so that liquidation thresholds fall, and a launchpad lets new tokens inherit the unified pool from listing. The project states plainly that it treats the roadmap as a direction rather than a calendar.
EV is described as the ecosystem's governance, utility, and value-accrual token. That covers governance over protocol parameters and treasury direction, access to platform features and incentive programs, incentives paid to liquidity providers and community participants, and the role of destination asset for the multi-year SmarDex migration.
Supply is stated at 100 billion EV with no venture capital unlocks, and the team allocation is described as the longest locked of any pocket. The published table includes community incentives at 15 percent, funds and audits at 14 percent, a public funding round at 8.5 percent released at the token generation event, and team and advisors at 8 percent vested over 36 months, alongside dedicated pockets for SDEX conversion, SDEX staking, partnerships, liquidity, and market making. Full circulation is targeted around October 2030.
SDEX holders have five documented migration routes: locked staking, burning SDEX for a community sale allocation, call options on a reserved EV pool with proceeds split between the DAO treasury and partnerships, a manually claimed airdrop for active long-term holders, and direct conversion at the published rate. Conversion stays open through 2030.
The first distinguishing choice is the refusal to segment capital. Nearly every large DeFi stack asks liquidity to pick a job. Everything's claim is that the handoffs between a swap venue, a money market, and a perpetuals exchange are where efficiency leaks, and that one reserve serving all three removes those handoffs.
The second is the deliberate absence of oracles in the pricing path. Oracle manipulation has been a recurring cause of losses in lending markets. Deriving a bounded price band from the pool's own state removes that dependency, at the cost of making the pool's depth the thing that must be defended.
The regulatory posture is also unusual. Publishing a MiCAR crypto-asset white paper with a national competent authority notification is a step most protocol tokens do not take.
EV settles on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, and BNB Chain and inherits those networks' security for transfers and balances. The protocol contracts are published under the SmarDex Ecosystem organization on GitHub, which holds the USDN contracts, the router, the peer-to-peer lending contracts, the exchange contracts, and shared Solidity libraries, and the tokenomics allocates a dedicated pocket to funds and audits.
One implementation detail is worth flagging. The EV token address holds only a small amount of bytecode, consistent with a proxy, and Etherscan identifies it as an ERC-1967 proxy with an upgradeable implementation. Token logic can therefore be changed by whoever controls the proxy admin, which is a normal pattern but a real trust assumption.
Fragmented liquidity is one of DeFi's most persistent structural costs. Every layer of separation between a swap pool, a lending market, and a derivatives venue adds a handoff, a fee, and an oracle. Everything is a serious attempt to collapse those layers into one reserve, built by a team with a shipped record from SmarDex and documented under European crypto-asset disclosure rules. It is early and the claims are strong, but the problem it targets is real and expensive.
EV trades on centralized exchanges and on decentralized venues across Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, and BNB Chain. Availability and pairs vary by venue and jurisdiction. Since the same address is used on all four networks, confirm you are transacting on the intended chain.
