(Technically "Allegheny County’s" but no one knows or cares where Allegheny County is.) This is a thing that might affect me.
- Claude says delay due to legal challenge is possible.
- Resolution criteria
- Resolves YES if, between the ordinance’s signing and October 22, 2027, a court order prevents enforcement on or after the date their obligation would otherwise begin (≈April 2027 for most employers; up to ≈October 2027 for those using the budget-cycle grace period).
- Also YES if the County formally postpones enforcement, citing pending litigation.
- Resolves NO otherwise, including if no challenge is filed, if a challenge is filed but no order blocks enforcement, or if any delay comes from Council amendments or the built-in grace period rather than litigation.
