Back when I was looking for a job, I got very tired of applying to jobs only to never hear back.
- So I started digging into the page source of postings on Indeed.
- Turns out, Indeed hides the actual posting timestamp deep in the metadata.
- [image][image][image]Some of these jobs are 6+ months old; the oldest posting I found was over 8 YEARS OLD.
- Clearly only intended to harvest data.
- Note that these results all appeared on the first or second page of my search results for "developer".
