This event predicts whether Amazon will accept Bitcoin (BTC) as a payment method on its e-commerce platform at any time between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026 (inclusive).
- The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be official announcements or updates by Amazon confirming Bitcoin payment acceptance.
- If Amazon officially enables Bitcoin as a payment option during this period, this market will resolve to "Yes".
- Otherwise, it will resolve to "No".
- Pilot programs, third-party integrations, or acceptance limited to gift cards or external services will not count unless Bitcoin is directly accepted by Amazon.
- If official announcements are ambiguous, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent reporting from major retail or technology news organizations.
