What Is LAB (LAB)?

LAB is a crypto trading terminal, and LAB is the BEP-20 token on BNB Smart Chain attached to it. The product, LAB Terminal, pairs a built-in wallet with an execution interface reached through a Telegram bot, a web app and a browser sidebar extension rather than an exchange account. Its documentation frames it as a layer on top of venues traders already use, advertising a flat 0.5 percent commission and a four-level referral program.

Who Founded LAB? (History)

The people behind LAB are not publicly identified in the project's documentation or on its website. There is no team page, no named executive and no public code repository, so the operator should be treated as anonymous. The documentation does name backers, stating the ecosystem is led by Lemniscap and backed by OKX Ventures, KuCoin Ventures, Gate Ventures, GSR, Cypher Capital and Animoca Brands, a list that comes from LAB itself. The docs set the token generation event for late 2025, and Binance ran one through Binance Alpha in October 2025.

How LAB Works

A user creates or imports a wallet inside the terminal, funds it, picks a network, then trades by pasting a contract address. Orders are routed by LAB's own infrastructure rather than the user's wallet software, which enables the speed claims and concentrates trust in the operator. Beyond market orders there are limit orders, stop losses, a Smart Order feature that spreads orders across a price band and closes on a reversal, and Boost Mode, a low-latency Solana panel with configurable slippage, gas and MEV protection.

The documentation is inconsistent on chains: the wallet section lists Solana and TON, while the airdrop overview describes Solana, Base, Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain.

This is the least documented part of the project. The public documentation covers the terminal in detail but contains no tokenomics section, so the token's role is not specified by the issuer. What is established is that LAB was the reward asset for both airdrop seasons. Third-party listings describe fee discounts and governance, but those are not confirmed in LAB's own materials, so treat LAB for now as a distribution and incentive asset.

What Makes LAB Unique?

The distinguishing choice is the sidebar browser extension alongside the Telegram bot. Most trading bots live inside a chat app and most terminals inside a browser tab; LAB puts execution next to whatever chart or feed the trader is reading.

How LAB Differs from Similar Projects

Against Telegram-native bots, LAB is a fuller product with limit orders, stop losses and a browser surface rather than a command-driven tool. Against decentralized exchange aggregators, it is not a routing protocol users can call on-chain but a hosted service. More convenience, less verifiability.

The terminal is a hosted service with an in-app wallet, so key handling, routing and account access depend on the operator, and the documentation publishes no audit, bug bounty, or account of how private keys are stored.

Risks and Considerations

An anonymous team, no published audit and no open-source code mean users cannot verify how keys are handled or orders routed. The token has no issuer-documented utility. Supply is released on a schedule, so unlocks can add sell pressure. Documentation drift on chains suggests gaps between what is described and what ships.

Why LAB Matters

LAB illustrates where much retail on-chain trading has moved, away from exchange order books toward hosted execution front ends with incentive tokens attached. Whether the token accrues durable value depends on the terminal holding fee volume and on tokenomics linking that volume to the asset.

Where Can You Buy LAB (LAB)?

LAB trades on several centralized exchanges against USDT and is accessible through Binance Alpha, where its token generation event ran. As a BEP-20 token it can also be traded on BNB Smart Chain decentralized exchanges using the contract address above, which should be verified against official channels first since short tickers are often impersonated.

Storage Options After Purchase

Any BNB Smart Chain wallet holds LAB, including MetaMask, Trust Wallet and hardware wallets such as Ledger. Holding inside the LAB Terminal wallet is convenient for trading but concentrates custody with the operator, so long-term balances are better kept in hardware-backed self custody, with a little BNB for gas.
