This event predicts whether Tether’s (USDT) total market capitalization will surpass USD 250 billion at any point between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026 (inclusive).
- The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be market capitalization data published by CoinGecko.
- If CoinGecko data shows that USDT’s market capitalization surpassed USD 250 billion at any point during this period, the market will resolve to "Yes".
- Otherwise, it will resolve to "No".
- If Tether undergoes significant structural changes (such as redenomination or supply restructuring), Futuur will use its discretion to determine the most comparable figure.
- If CoinGecko data is unavailable, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent data from other reputable cryptocurrency data providers.
