This market shall resolve to Yes in the event that the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact goes into effect by the End Date listed below.
The Compact shall be considered to have gone into effect if States (including the District of Columbia and any additional jurisdiction that will have electoral college votes in the 2028 Presidential Election) whose electoral college vote total is a majority of those that may be awarded in the 2028 Presidential Election enact legislation with the effect of awarding their statewide electoral votes to the winner of the national popular vote in presidential elections.
Committee votes, hearings, or reports, other procedural votes, and any subsequent litigation will have no impact on the resolution of this market.
PredictIt’s decisions and determinations under this rule shall be at PredictIt’s sole discretion and shall be final.
End Date: 06/30/2028 11:59 PM (ET)
