Resolution criteria
- This market will resolve to the entity or metropolitan area that first officially inaugurates and operates a commuter rail (tren metropolitan) service open to the public.
- For the purpose of this market, a "metropolitan train system" is defined as a dedicated passenger rail service operating within a metropolitan area, connecting the city center to suburban or surrounding areas, distinct from existing national long-distance intercity rail services.
- Resolution will be based on the first public announcement of the commencement of regular commercial operations by official municipal, county, or transportation authority press releases.
- In the event that no system is inaugurated by December 31, 2030, or if the projects are officially cancelled, this market may resolve to "Other" or N/A depending on final developments.
- The creator will resolve this market based on official reports from the relevant local authorities (e.g., TPBI for Bucharest-Ilfov, the named outcome, or the City Hall of Cluj-Napoca).
