Resolution criteria
- This market resolves to YES if an official cryptocurrency meme coin co-founded, backed, or officially launched by Hunter Biden (specifically the announced $LAPTOP token on the Base network) officially launches and is available for public trading on or before September 9, 2026 (by 11:59 PM UTC).
- To resolve to YES, the launch must be verified by on-chain deployment of the official token contract with active trading liquidity, and confirmed by reputable financial or cryptocurrency news outlets (such as The Wall Street Journal, CoinDesk, or The Block), or via Hunter Biden's official verified X account @HunterBiden.
- If no official token is launched by the end of September 9, 2026, if the launch is postponed to a later date, or if the announcement is revealed to be a hoax, this market will resolve to NO.
- Copycat or unofficial "LAPTOP" tokens deployed by unrelated third parties do not qualify.
- On September 7, 2026, Hunter Biden announced plans to launch a meme coin called $LAPTOP on Coinbase's Ethereum Layer-2 network, Base, scheduled for September 9, 2026.
