Staika (STIK) is the utility token of Staika, a lifestyle rewards platform that pays users for real-world activity such as walking, hiking and playing its games. The project combines a move-to-earn app (gazaGO), a tower-defense game (defenGO) and its own crypto wallet, with STIK serving as the reward, payment and upgrade currency across them. It matters as an example of an "X2E" (experience-to-earn) model that tries to reach mainstream users without requiring them to buy NFTs up front.
The Staika whitepaper describes the project as an activity-based lifestyle service platform that forms alliances with companies in travel, leisure and culture. Its services are organized into four groups: wallet services, earning services (X2E rewards), market services (an e-commerce and NFT marketplace, still listed as planned) and social services such as donations and upcycling. The official website now frames the project as a "Human Energy Economy" that rewards movement, sleep consistency, recycling, event attendance and staking.
STIK is an SPL token on Solana with a total supply of 250,000,000 and 9 decimals, according to the whitepaper.
The whitepaper's team page lists STAIKA LLC as the operating company, with Kritsanapong Charoenpit as CEO, Ryan Kim as CTO (formerly a senior researcher at LG Electronics), Sevgi Zeynep Zarbun as CMO and Jun Kang as CSO. The official website states that STIK launched in March 2023. The site references partnerships with Korean organizations and Korean app store listings, while the CEO's biography points to Thai business ties, so the project appears to operate across several Asian markets. Detailed incorporation information is not published in the materials reviewed.
Users sign up with a social login, record activity in the apps, and earn rewards. Most in-app rewards are paid first in Taika (TIK), a fixed-value mileage point that cannot be transferred outside the service. The whitepaper explains the reasoning: STIK's price is volatile, and paying many small rewards on-chain would create excessive fees and delays. STIK is then used for higher-value actions such as minting and upgrading NFT items, paying for services and swapping inside the Staika Wallet. A third unit, Aika, is described as a planned point currency of fixed value.
The whitepaper's distribution plan allocates the 250,000,000 STIK supply as follows: Ecosystem 35%, Operations 15%, Private Sales 12%, Reserve 10%, R&D 10%, Marketing and Events 10%, and Team and Advisors 8%. The operations allocation is described as covering exchange liquidity, market making and buybacks. The design also includes token burning: transfer fees, NFT trades, challenge entry costs, character upgrades and marketplace purchases burn some or all of the tokens used, depending on the service.
Staika's two-token model separates volatile on-chain value (STIK) from stable in-app rewards (Taika), which is meant to make earning feel predictable for non-crypto users. The project also leans on offline partnerships, including real-world events and NGO-linked donations, rather than pure in-game economies.
Staika is an application token, not a blockchain. Compared with Green Metaverse Token (the STEPN ecosystem), gazaGO does not require buying an NFT to start. Compared with Sweat Economy, Staika mixes fitness with a separate game and a wallet, and pays everyday rewards in an off-chain point currency.
STIK inherits the security of Solana, where it is issued as a standard SPL token viewable on Solscan. The apps, reward logic and Taika balances are operated by the Staika team off-chain, so users rely on the company for those parts. The whitepaper lists external certifications, but no public smart contract audit was identified in the materials reviewed.
Staika is a test of whether crypto rewards can be embedded in everyday health and leisure apps without asking users to understand blockchains first.
The official website lists exchanges including Gate.io and GOPAX. STIK can also be swapped on Solana decentralized exchanges and inside the Staika Wallet. Confirm current listings directly with each exchange.
Gate.io and GOPAX are named by the project; availability can differ by country.
STIK can be held in the Staika Wallet or any Solana wallet that supports SPL tokens, such as Phantom or Solflare. Check the mint address against the whitepaper before transferring.
