- For this market, an arrest means physical detention by authorities with intent to hold in custody.
- The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be official statements or records from Venezuelan authorities or other competent law enforcement bodies.
- If María Corina Machado is physically detained under arrest during this period, this market will resolve to "Yes".
- Otherwise, it will resolve to "No".
- Temporary questioning or harassment without arrest will not count.
