This market will resolve to "Yes" if announcement that Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) will be, has been, or is being acquired or merged with between by March 13, 2023, 11:59:59 PM ET.
- Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".
- For the purposes of this market, an announcement by SVB is enough to trigger a "Yes" resolution, regardless of whether the announced acquisition/merger actually occurs.
- An announcement that a majority of its assets are being acquired suffices to resolve this market to "Yes." The FDIC acquiring institution doesn't count for this market.
- The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Silicon Valley Bank, an acquirer of Silicon Valley Bank, a company merging with SVB, and/or the FDIC, however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
