Bella Protocol is a long-running DeFi project that launched in 2020 with the goal of making yield products simple enough for non-technical users, and that has since repositioned itself around quantitative trading tools, liquidity-provision strategies and small on-chain games. BEL is its ERC-20 token, originally distributed through Binance Launchpool, which used Bella as the first project on that program.
The important thing for a reader arriving today is that Bella in 2026 is not the same product it was in 2020. The original "one-click banking" suite (Flex Savings, One-Click, Robo-Advisor, Lending) is no longer what the official site presents. Historical project materials describe BEL as giving holders a share of protocol management fees, discounts on service fees and governance voting. Those utilities are not currently restated in the primary documentation at docs.bella.fi, which covers Tuner in depth and says little about the token. Rather than assert utilities the project no longer documents, the honest position is this: BEL is a transferable ERC-20 whose guaranteed on-chain behavior is transfer and approval, and whose product-level benefits should be confirmed against current official channels before you rely on them.
The most defensible thing Bella has shipped is Tuner. A tick-accurate Uniswap v3 simulator that runs outside the EVM is genuinely useful to liquidity providers and market makers, it is open source, and it is maintained. Very few tokens of this size have an artifact other teams can pick up and use directly.
