This market shall resolve to Yes in the event that, in a referendum election held in 2026, voters in the State of California approve a ballot initiative with the effect of imposing a one-time tax on individuals with a net worth that is above a certain threshold.
This market shall resolve to No prior to the end of 2026 in the event that no such initiative qualifies to be on a ballot in 2026, or in the event that such a referendum election is held and fails and no subsequent qualifying referendum is scheduled to be held in 2026.
Committee votes, hearings, or reports, other procedural votes, and any subsequent litigation will have no impact on the resolution of this market.
PredictIt’s decisions and determinations under this rule shall be at PredictIt’s sole discretion and shall be final.
