FutuurRegeln
Katie Zacharia left the role of White House Press Secretary on October 16, 2026, five days after starting, and the White House has not yet named a replacement.
- This market is about when her successor is appointed.
- The appointment date is the date on which Donald Trump or the White House officially announces the person who will be the next White House Press Secretary (for example in a Truth Social post or a White House statement).
- Media reports based on anonymous sources do not count until confirmed by such an announcement.
- Each answer ("the named outcome" and so on) resolves YES if that announcement is made before 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time on that date, and NO otherwise.
- Someone named as acting or interim Press Secretary does not count, and neither does a deputy who takes briefings without being given the title of Press Secretary.
