A US federal court has blocked Texas from using new voting maps drawn by Republicans in an effort to shore up their majority in the 2026 midterm elections.
- The current court ruling is that Texas must use its 2021 map, though this might be appealed in a higher court.
- Resolves YES if Texas uses its current 2021 map in the 2026 midterms, and NO if a different map is used.
