Resolution criteria

This market resolves to YES if there is public evidence (e.g., a peer-reviewed publication, a press release from a reputable academic or clinical institution, or a clinical trial registry entry on ClinicalTrials.gov) confirming that a study using the Kernel Flow 2 neuroimaging system specifically to investigate the neurological effects of sex on psychedelics has commenced or has been conducted by December 31, 2027.
If no such evidence is publicly available by the resolution date, the market resolves to NO.
Kernel Flow 2 is a non-invasive, portable neuroimaging headset that utilizes time-domain functional near-infrared spectroscopy (TD-fNIRS) and electroencephalography (EEG) to measure brain activity.
Launched in 2023, the system is designed to provide fMRI-like functional data, making it suitable for research settings in fields such as cognitive health, depression, and neurodegenerative disease.
Kernel has previously validated its earlier Flow technology in studies measuring the impact of psychoactive substances on brain activity.
