Prozac (fluoxetine) is one of the most widely prescribed antidepressants in the United States, probably the most well known of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).
- In the "Make America Healthy Again" executive order, it states that the commission it establishes shall: "(iii) assess the prevalence of and threat posed by the prescription of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, stimulants, and weight-loss drugs;"
- Unless otherwise specified, "Prozac" and "fluoxetine" will be considered equivalent.
- Resolution Criteria
- This market will resolve YES if at any point until January 20, 2029:
- The Trump administration implements policies that explicitly ban Prozac OR
