The chain uses CometBFT, which tolerates up to one third of validators failing or acting maliciously and gives finality that cannot be reverted once a block commits. Validators are chosen by stake weight for block proposal. At the marketplace layer, the defense against bad work is verification: randomly selected verifiers check results before rewards are released, backed by staked value that can be put at risk. Security therefore depends on validator distribution, the soundness of verification sampling, and the correctness of the proving implementations and the bridge contracts carrying CYS to other chains.
Proving cost is one of the concrete limits on how far zero-knowledge technology can spread, and verifiable AI hits the same wall from another direction. Cysic is one of the few teams attacking that limit at the silicon level while also building the market that would price it. If proof demand grows, dedicated proving capacity becomes infrastructure rather than a niche; if it does not, purpose-built hardware is an expensive bet.
CYS trades on centralized exchanges, and representations of the token can also be swapped on decentralized exchanges on BNB Chain and Base. Availability differs by jurisdiction, so check the venue's own market list before trading.
CYS was surfaced through Binance Alpha and, in August 2026, was listed on the South Korean exchange Upbit with pairs against BTC and USDT.
