This is a market on whether NASA will successfully complete a launch of the first Space Launch System (SLS) vehicle by September 5th, 2022.
- If SLS completes a successful launch by September 5, 2022, 11:59:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Yes”.
- Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”.
- This market cannot resolve to "No" until September 5, 2022, 11:59:59 PM ET has passed.
- A successful launch will mean that the SLS vehicle takes off from its launchpad and successfully reaches the Karman Line, an altitude of at least 100 Kilometers (~62 miles) above sea level.
- The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from NASA, and/or the official video feed of the launch (https://www.youtube.com/c/NASA), however secondary video feeds and other credible reporting may also be used.
