This market shall resolve to "Yes" if a hurricane makes landfall in the conterminous United States between the launch of this market, September 16, 2021 at 3:00 PM ET, and 11:59:59 PM ET on October 14, 2021 as reported in official National Hurricane Center advisories.
- The status of the hurricane at landfall and the approximate time of landfall as reported in the advisory indicating landfall will be used to resolve this market.
- If no tropical systems make landfall as hurricane status between the launch of this market and October 14, this market shall resolve to "No." For the purposes of this market, a hurricane landfall is said to occur when a hurricane's surface center intersects with the coastline, as described at ttps://www.nhc.noaa.gov/aboutgloss.shtml#LANDFALL.
- No retrospective analyses after the advisory indicating landfall will have any bearing on the resolution of this market.
