Resolution criteria
- This market will resolve to YES if Democratic candidate Troy Jackson wins the highest number of first-choice (first-preference) votes in Hancock County, Maine, in the November 3, 2026, U.S. Senate general election.
- The market will resolve to NO if any other candidate (including Republican incumbent Susan Collins or any independent/third-party candidate) receives more first-choice votes than Troy Jackson in Hancock County, or if Troy Jackson is not on the ballot.
- Resolution will be determined using the official town-by-town or county-level tabulation data published by the Maine Secretary of State.
- If official state-level data is delayed, reputable election tracking sources (such as the Associated Press) may be used to project the county's winner, provided there is no active recount or dispute.
- In the 2026 midterm cycle, fifth-generation logger and former Maine Senate President Troy Jackson secured the Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate.
