This market predicts whether Apple or Google will launch native stablecoin functionality through Apple Wallet, Apple Pay, Google Wallet or Google Pay before 1 January 2029.
- Resolution criteria
- YES: At least one of the companies makes a stablecoin feature publicly available to eligible consumers through its first-party mobile wallet or payment service by 31 December 2028, 23:59 UTC.
- To qualify, the feature must:
- - Support a blockchain-based fiat-pegged stablecoin, such as USDC or USDT.
- - Allow users to hold, send, receive or spend stablecoins directly within the first-party wallet or payment service.
