Regels
The Varieties of Democracy Research Project (V-Dem) is based in the University of Gothenburg and studies democracy and democratization of countries, combining different core principles of this type of regime (electoral, liberal, majoritarian, consensual, participatory, deliberative, egalitarian) into a single index.
- This scholarly political science effort of the V-Dem Institute generates yearly Democracy Reports, accounting for the different levels of democratization worldwide.
- This set of markets predicts which countries will improve their position in the 2027 Democracy Report Ranking.
- The markets listing countries that improve their position in the ranking will resolve to "Yes".
- Markets listing the countries that keep or lower their position will resolve to "No".
