On August 22, 2024, POWDR announced it would sell Killington and Pico Mountain ski resorts in Vermont to a small group of local investors.
- They also announced that they were putting Mt. Bachelor, Oregon; Eldora, Colorado; and Silver Star, British Columbia for sale over the coming weeks in a move to balance the company around year round operations at their remaining facilities.
- This market will resolve YES if POWDR announces that any of their other resorts are sold to one of the other big four ski companies (Vail, Alterra, Mountain Capital Partners, or Boyne) by the end of summer (September 26) 2026.
- It will resolve YES if a POWDR resort not listed as being for sale is sold to one of the big four.
- It will resolve NO if the entire company is sold, if there is no sale, or if a resort is sold to a firm or individual who is not a big four operator.
