Resolution criteria
- This binary market will resolve to YES if the player specified by the market creator (e.g., in the title or an edit to this description) finishes as the top goalscorer (or co-top goalscorer) of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
- Source of Truth: Official tournament statistics provided by FIFA.
- Tie-breakers: For the purpose of this binary market, if multiple players finish tied for the most goals scored, any player with the joint-highest number of goals will be considered a "top scorer" (resolving to YES), regardless of FIFA's official Golden Boot tiebreakers (assists and minutes played), unless the creator explicitly specifies otherwise.
- Edge Cases: If the creator has not specified a player, the market will resolve to YES for the player named in the market title.
- Goals scored during regular time and extra time count toward the total; goals scored during penalty shootouts do not.
