What Is Quack AI (Q)?

Quack AI is a governance and execution layer for on-chain decisions made or carried out by AI agents. It has three parts: an intelligence layer that drafts and scores proposals, an execution layer called Q402 that turns an approved decision into a gasless, policy-checked payment, and a compliance layer for tokenized real-world assets. Who Founded Quack AI? (History)

The people behind Quack AI are not publicly identified in its documentation or on its website, neither of which names founders or executives. What has been disclosed is funding: a $3.6 million raise backed by Animoca Brands, Kenetic Capital, Skyland VC, Scaling Labs, 071 Labs, CARV and Merlin Chain. It went live on BNB Chain in 2025, and the docs show a shift from DAO voting tools toward an autonomy stack built around Q402.

How Quack AI Works

Governance Intelligence is the decision layer. An AI proposal engine turns raw inputs into a structured proposal with a summary, key parameters and a risk assessment. Scoring models rank proposals by urgency, risk and compliance, filters apply identity and jurisdiction rules, and holders can delegate voting to an AI Twin. Approved outcomes fire hooks that move treasury funds.

Q402 is the execution layer. Instead of the usual approve, transfer and pay sequence, a user signs once using EIP-712 typed data with EIP-7702 delegated authorization. A facilitator verifies it, sponsors the gas and settles, producing a receipt hash linking signature, transaction and policy. It works with any ERC-20. Underneath sits the Policy Engine, holding shared rules for spend limits, expiry, whitelists and jurisdiction.

Most governance tooling stops at the vote. Quack AI carries the decision through to settlement and attaches a machine-checkable policy to the payment, so the authorization, the transaction and the rule that allowed it are linked by one receipt. Gasless single-signature authorization is the enabler, since an agent will not hold gas on seven networks.

How Quack AI Differs from Similar Projects

Snapshot-style tools handle off-chain signaling and leave execution to a multisig. Quack AI automates both ends and adds compliance filters, aiming closer to tokenized funds than a typical DAO. How Quack AI Is Secured

The documentation publishes no consolidated list of third-party audits, worth confirming before delegating spend authority.

Risks and Considerations

Delegating both voting and payment authority to an AI agent concentrates trust in model behavior and in how narrowly the policy is scoped, so a mis-specified spend limit is a direct exposure. EIP-7702 delegation is a new pattern with a short production history, the team is not publicly identified, and adoption figures come from the project itself.

Why Quack AI Matters

Autonomous agents are easy to build and hard to authorize. The open question is not whether an agent can decide, but who signed for it, what limits applied and whether the payment can be proven compliant later. Quack AI treats that as the product, not as plumbing.
