TRIA is the token of Tria, a self-custodial "neofinance" application that bundles multi-chain trading, yield and card spending behind a single account, on top of a cross-chain execution layer the company calls BestPath. The token coordinates settlement, routing incentives, fee subsidies, membership tiers and governance across that stack.
Name collisions matter here, because the TRIA ticker is contested. This page describes the token deployed on Ethereum mainnet at 0x228bec415aDe4b61D7Caf0Adf8C91eAc587bA369, which returns the name TRIA, eighteen decimals and a total supply of exactly 10,000,000,000 on a live contract read. It is not Trias or TRIAS, which are separate projects with separate contracts, and it is not any of the other assets that have used similar names.
Official sources:
Tria was founded in 2022 by Vijit Katta and Parth Bhalla, who lead the company as chief executive and chief technology officer. The team's public background spans prior work across blockchain infrastructure and large technology companies.
The company raised in two rounds, with reporting indicating roughly 24 million dollars in total and a 12 million dollar round in January 2026, with participation from investors associated with the Polygon and Aptos ecosystems. The consumer product opened to the public in late 2025. The token generation event followed on 3 February 2026, and in August 2026 the project announced extended lock-ups for team and investor allocations.
Note that the developer documentation and the consumer site now describe different center points. The docs still lead with SDKs and an infrastructure layer called Unchained, while the main site leads with the consumer application. Treat the documentation as the developer surface rather than as a current description of the flagship product.
Chain abstraction at the account layer Tria's account model is designed so a user holds one balance view rather than a wallet per chain. The documentation describes threshold-signature based programmable accounts, with social login and gasless transaction support through an embedded wallet SDK.
Intent routing through BestPath Rather than asking a user to pick a bridge and a route, the system takes the desired outcome and routes execution across chains. The project describes BestPath as a permissionless chain-abstraction and intents marketplace spanning multiple virtual machine environments.
PathFinders as the execution side Participants that fill and verify routed execution stake TRIA to gain market access. Staking is therefore the bonding mechanism for the actors that actually move value.
Consumer surface On top of that sits the application most users see: spot and perpetual trading, yield on idle balances, and a card for spending, with the company emphasizing that keys stay with the user.
TRIA is documented as serving five roles:
Most chain-abstraction projects sell to developers. Tria built the consumer product itself and pushed the abstraction down under a retail-facing application, which means the routing layer has a first-party demand source instead of waiting for third-party integrations.
The supply structure is also unusually plain, and this was checked against the contract rather than taken on faith. The documented design is a fixed, hardcapped ten billion tokens, fully pre-minted at the token generation event with no inflation. A live read returns exactly 10,000,000,000 with eighteen decimals, and the deployed bytecode contains no mint or burn entry point. It does expose an owner() and permit-style approvals. Documented allocations are 41.04 percent community, 18 percent foundation, 15 percent ecosystem and liquidity, 13.96 percent investors and 12 percent core contributors, with investor tokens locked at the token generation event under multi-year vesting.
Against bridge and messaging protocols, Tria is not trying to be neutral infrastructure that other applications plug into first. It is a vertically integrated product where the routing layer exists to serve an application the same company runs. Against custodial crypto card and neobank products, the differentiator claimed is self-custody: keys stay with the user rather than with the issuer.
The honest counterpoint is that a broad consumer surface spanning trading, leverage, yield and payments touches a lot of regulatory and operational ground at once, and does so with a young protocol underneath.
The token contract is a standard Ethereum ERC-20 with permit support, so it inherits Ethereum's settlement guarantees. The security surface that matters more sits above it.
Threshold-signature accounts mean key material is split rather than held in one place, which changes the failure mode but does not eliminate it; the security of the signing quorum and of the operator infrastructure becomes the thing to evaluate. Cross-chain routing adds its own trust assumptions, since value moving between chains depends on the correctness of the messaging layer and the honesty or bonding of the participants filling the route. Perpetual trading and card settlement add counterparty and operational dependencies that are not on-chain at all.
Independent audit reports were not located through public documentation at the time of writing. Absence of a published report is not evidence of an unaudited system, but a prospective user should ask for it directly rather than assume.
Chain abstraction has been an infrastructure talking point for years with little consumer evidence behind it. Tria is one of the more concrete attempts to test it in front of ordinary users, with an application, a card and a routing layer shipped together rather than a standards proposal waiting for adopters. The result is worth watching regardless of how the token performs.

The first quarter of 2026 was really good for the crypto market. A lot of smaller and mid cap projects like VVV, GWEI, TRIA, and DUSK did very well.
